Our Services
At Evervital Care LLC, we provide non-medical, in-home support that helps seniors live safely and comfortably in their own homes. Our caregivers assist with the everyday activities of daily living — as much or as little as your family needs, on an hourly basis (4-hour minimum) up to around-the-clock support.
Everything we do is non-medical personal care and companionship. For any medical or skilled-nursing needs, we’re glad to help your family coordinate with the appropriate licensed medical providers.
In private duty home health care, medication reminding is a critical component that ensures patients take their prescribed medications safely and effectively in the comfort of their homes. Our caregivers provide medication reminders. When medications have been pre-selected by your loved one, a family member, a nurse, or a pharmacist and stored in a clearly labeled medication minder, our caregivers can:
- Remind your loved one when it’s time to take their medication
- Verbally prompt and encourage them.
- Hand them the correctly labeled container, and open it if they can’t.
If a caregiver notices anything unusual such as a missed dose, or medication taken too often, they report it promptly to our supervising office so your family stays informed.
Preventative general skin care. When skin is unbroken and when any chronic skin problems are not active, it may include the application of non-medicated lotions and solutions. Or of lotions and solutions not requiring a physician’s prescription.
Assist clients with steady and safe assistance in walking and moving about the home.
Assistance with bathing, within non-medical limits and your loved one’s comfort and safety.
Help with everyday clothing, hair care, shaving (electric or safety razor), and basic appearance. This may include assistance with ordinary clothing and application of support stockings of the type that can be purchased without a physician’s prescription.
Assist a client with exercise. Passive assistance with exercise is limited to encouraging normal bodily movement, as tolerated, on the part of the client, and to encouragement with a prescribed exercise program.
Assistance with feeding at mealtimes when your loved one can eat and swallow independently.
Assist with the maintenance and appearance of the client’s hair. Hair care within these limitations may include shampooing with non-medicated shampoo or shampoo that does not require a physician’s prescription, drying, combing and styling hair.
Assist in and perform mouth care. This may include denture care and basic oral hygiene, including oral suctioning for mouth care.
Assist with nail care. May include soaking of nails, pushing back cuticles without utensils, and filing nails. No nail trimming.
Help adjusting position comfortably in a bed or chair when the client is able to identify either verbally, non-verbally or through others, when the position needs to be changed. Positioning may include simple alignment in a bed, wheelchair, or other furniture.
Dignified assistance with bathroom needs helping client to/from the bathroom; provide assistance with bed pans, urinals, and commodes; provide pericare; or change clothing and pads of any kind used for the care of incontinence.
Assistance moving to and from a chair, bed, or wheelchair, when your loved one can reliably participate in the transfer. Adaptive and safety equipment may be used in transfers, provided that the client is fully trained in the use of the equipment and can direct the transfer step by step. Adaptive equipment may include, but is not limited to, wheelchairs, tub seats, and grab Gait belts may be used as a safety device for the home services.
If services include use of the client’s personal funds:
The Agency will obtain an authorization from the client/responsible party, for access to personal funds when grocery or other shopping services are to be provided and when those services include assistance with bill paying or any activities, such as shopping, that involve access to or use of client funds.
